Nutrifort Organic Fertilizer

Nutrifort Organic Fertilizer uses neem-derived organic material as part of a soil-building approach. Unlike fertilizer that is focused only on supplying immediately available nutrients, the organic component is intended to contribute carbon and nutrients to the soil while supporting better soil structure, biological activity and long-term fertility.

Research on neem seed cake has shown improvements in soil organic carbon and nutrient availability. In one two-year field study, the strongest neem-cake treatment combination recorded soil organic carbon of 10.3 g/kg compared with 5.8 g/kg in the control. The same research identified neem cake as a source of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and organic carbon.

Nutrifort Neem-Coated Urea

More nitrogen retained where the crop can use it

Nutrifort Neem-Coated Urea is designed to address one of the main weaknesses of conventional urea: nitrogen can be lost before the crop is able to use it. Coating the urea with neem helps slow nitrogen transformation in the soil and supports better nitrogen retention and nutrient-use efficiency.

In Rijona's own testing, the product has reduced nitrogen losses by up to 50% while improving crop yield by up to 30%. These results reflect our field testing and product-development work.

Nutrifort Neem & Phosphate

An organic fertilizer formulation developed for soil and plant nutrition within the AgriNeemix portfolio.

Supporting roots, phosphorus availability and soil fertility

Nutrifort Neem & Phosphate is designed around the importance of phosphorus in root development, early plant establishment and crop growth, while retaining the soil-building advantages of neem-derived organic material.

Published soil research also supports the role of neem cake in phosphorus retention and availability. One decomposition study reported a 46.9% increase in total phosphorus retention with neem cake, while another neem-cake nutrient-management study recorded available phosphorus of 30.43 kg/ha compared with 18.81 kg/ha in its control treatment.

Botanical Bio-Pesticide

A neem and plant-based crop-protection formulation developed as part of the AgriNeemix agricultural product range.

Neem-based crop protection

The Botanical Bio-Pesticide is developed to protect crops using neem and other plant-derived materials. Neem contains compounds such as azadirachtin that can interfere with insect feeding, growth and development, giving farmers a botanical tool for integrated pest management.

The wider research base is strong. Across 153 field trials, a commercial azadirachtin neem insecticide averaged a 46.1% reduction in pest infestation, although performance varied by pest. In Ghanaian chilli trials, a neem-based biopesticide also reduced major insect pests and produced yields of approximately 3.17–4.35 t/ha compared with 2.12–3.06 t/ha in untreated plots. These published figures demonstrate the potential of neem-based crop protection and are not presented as Rijona field results.

Enhanced Neem Oil

A concentrated neem-oil product developed for agricultural applications within the AgriNeemix portfolio.

Concentrated neem for agricultural use

Enhanced Neem Oil takes Rijona's neem-oil processing into a concentrated agricultural format intended for crop-protection applications. Neem oil contains several biologically active compounds associated with feeding deterrence, disruption of insect development and reduced pest pressure.

Published field studies demonstrate the potential of agricultural neem oil. In one aphid field trial, neem seed oil reduced aphid populations by 67.1% over pre-treatment levels after ten days under the study conditions. Results vary by pest, concentration, crop and application method, so this figure is research context rather than a Rijona performance claim.
